Textbook information for curriculum courses will be posted on the Nash Campus Store website when it becomes available to us.

Textbook Lookup:

Choose the Academic Term for which you need information for (Fall/Spring/Summer) and a list of all courses offered during that term will appear. Choose the desired course and all of the textbook information available will appear. If some courses do not show Used or Rentals as an available option then that is not available at that time for that course.

How can I find out how much my textbooks will cost?

This information is posted online as it becomes available. If you see that the textbook information has posted for particular term, but the price info has not posted yet, check back later, as Nash Campus Store is still working on that term’s price list.

Can I rent my textbooks?

Some textbooks may have the option to be rented instead of purchasing, but this is not an option for all textbooks. Available Rentals will appear as an option when choosing your textbooks. If purchasing on campus, simply ask a Nash Campus Store associate which textbooks are available as a Rental when checking out at the register.

Are there used copies of all textbooks?

No, there are not used copies of all textbooks. Some textbooks will only be available as a new copy for many different reasons. Also, used copies are the first to be sold, so they are available at a “first come, first serve basis”.

Can I order my textbooks online?

Yes, use the "Textbook Lookup" link for Online Ordering. Simply add the desired textbooks to your cart. Upon "Checkout", you will be asked for your payment information.

When can I buy my textbooks when paying with cash or credit card?

When paying with cash or credit card, you can purchase your textbooks as soon as we have them in stock for the term in which your class is offered. It is usually best to wait untill Book Buyback starts to help ensure that used copies will be available for purchase.

When can I buy my textbooks when paying with Financial Aid?

When paying with Financial Aid you must wait until it is available to be used in the Campus Store before you are able to come by and purchase textbooks, etc. Check the “Information” tab on Nash Campus Store’s website for updated information as the upcoming semester approaches.

When can I pick up my Online Order?

There are always specific Pickup location, dates, and times for Online Orders. This information should be given on the checkout messages and confirmation page when your order is placed.

Where can I pick up my Online Order?

This information should be given on the checkout messages and confirmation page when your order is placed. If your order is not picked up during the pickup dates provided, your order will be taken to the Campus Store and can be picked up there. Nash Campus Store is not responsible for Online Orders that have not been picked up after 30 days of the order date.

You should receive a confirmation email stating that your Online Order was successful. In the event that something went wrong with your payment, Nash Campus Store will email you to let you know.

Textbook Rentals

Can I pay for my textbook rental using Financial Aid?

Yes, but you must provide your Student ID #, as well as a credit card to keep on file, in case the textbook rental is turned in late and/or not returned.

Will my credit card be charged anything?

Your credit card will not be charged unless your textbook rental is turned late and/or not returned. After the rental return date, you may be charged for the full retail price of the textbook rented, less the original rental charge.

What happens if the textbook rental is turned late?

There is a grace period after the rental return date. If your textbook rental is returned to Nash Campus Store during the grace period, you will only be charged a late fee. If your textbook rental is turned in after the grace period, you may be charged the full retail price of the rented textbook, less the original rental charge.

What happens if the textbook rental is never turned in?

If your textbook rental is never turned in, the credit card left on file will be charged the full retail amount of the textbook, less the original rental charge.

Will I get any money back when I turn my textbook rental in?

No, textbook rentals are just that, a rental. There is no money given back to students for rented textbooks. In the case you turn in your textbook rental and you are given back money, please let Nash Campus Store know immediately, as your textbook rental may not have been returned properly, causing your rental to show up in Nash Campus Store’s system as not being turned in. This may cause your credit card on file to be charged as if the textbook rental was not returned.

What if I accidently sold my textbook rental to Nash Campus Store during Book Buyback?

If this happens, let Nash Campus Store know immediately. It is very important to let a Nash Campus Store associate know when turning in your textbook rental. Make sure to get a receipt confirming that your rental was turned back in, to ensure no additional fees are charged.

How will I remember to turn my textbook rental in on time?

Your rental due date will be printed on your receipt. Nash Campus Store always sends out at least three rental due date reminder emails to the email address provided at the time you rented your textbooks.

What if I lost my textbook rental?

Unfortunately, any student that lost their rentals will be responsible for paying the full retail price of the textbook rented.

What do I do if my textbook rental is damaged?

Contact us so that Nash Campus Store can see what the extent of damage is to the textbook rental. Water damage, missing pages, or badly torn pages/covers will require the student to pay the full retail price of the textbook rented.

What if I need to keep my textbook rental past the return date?

Contact Nash Campus Store to see what your options are, as we may be able to extend your rental, depending on the length of additional time needed. If you need your textbook rental for another semester, you will either need to rent the textbook again for an additional semester, or purchase the textbook, which may be able to be sold during Book Buyback.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about renting a textbook?

Contact Nash Campus Store immediately if you change your mind and want to purchase your textbook rental instead of renting it. There is a grace period that will allow this as an option.

If I rent a textbook, can I write in it?

No, textbook rentals should not be written or highlighted in. This could cause the student to be charged an additional fee for damages. Textbook rentals should be returned in the same condition in which they were originally received.

Unfortunately, Nash Campus Store cannot provide this information until you stop by and have your textbook(s) scanned.

How much money will I get for my textbooks?

This information is given at the time of your visit, when Nash Campus Store scans your textbooks.

Can I sell textbooks that I bought somewhere else?

You can bring any textbooks that you’d like and Nash Campus Store will scan them to check their current value during Book Buyback.

Why are some textbooks not bought back, even if I just purchased them at the beginning of the semester?

Nash Campus Store cannot guarantee that any textbooks will be bought by during Book Buyback. There are many different reasons why some textbooks are bought back, while others are not. Some departments may have chosen another textbook for their courses, some textbooks may have been updated to a newer edition,  while others require certain specifications in order to be bought back, like having unused access code or that need to be clear of any writing/highlighting.

Why did I get such a low amount back when selling my textbook during Book Buyback when I paid much more for it originally?

Textbooks values during Book Buyback are determined by many different factors. The textbooks may have been recently updated to a newer edition, or may need to have unused access codes sold along with them. When textbooks are originally sold as bundle that included an access code, the access code is usually the more expensive part of the bundle, not the actual textbook.

Can I sell a textbook during Book Buyback if it has writing or highlighting in it?

This just depends on the textbook conditions that are applicable at the time of Book Buyback. This information is given when the textbook is scanned in the Campus Store.

Can I sell a textbook during Book Buyback if it is damaged?

All textbooks bought back must be at least in a fair condition, meaning no missing pages, torn covers, or water damage.

Can I sell a textbook during Book Buyback that originally came with an access code, but used it for class?

Some textbooks can be bought back during Book Buyback that originally were purchased with access codes, while others may require the unused access code in order to be bought back. This information is given when the textbook is scanned in the Campus Store.

Can I sell a textbook during Book Buyback that originally came with an access code, but I didn’t use it?

Having an unused access code may increase the value of the textbook, if that textbook is being bought back during Book Buyback. Some access codes, even unused, may be outdated.

How do I know if I need to have an access code/DVD/CD/Insert with a textbook in order to sell it during Book Buyback?

If a textbook originally came with a DVD/CD/Insert when it was purchased, it is probably needed when trying to sell during Book Buyback. Access codes may be required. This information can be given when Nash Campus Store scans your textbooks.

Can I sell note packets or loose leaf course materials during Book Buyback?

Unfortunately, Nash Campus Store cannot accept these types of course materials during Book Buyback.

Can I sell Continuing Education Textbooks during Book Buyback?

Possibly, just bring them in and Nash Campus Store will scan them to check.

What should I do if I miss Book Buyback?

In this case, a check will be issued by NCC Business Office and mailed to the address on file.

Can I get a refund for textbooks that I purchased that are not in the original packaging, but I’m still within the two week return period?

Textbooks that are no longer sealed in their original wrapping may be returned within the 2 week return period, but must include all materials that came bundled together, with your receipt, and will be accessed a 10% restocking fee.
