Textbooks (and other course materials)

How can I find out which textbooks and required materials I will need for my classes?

Textbook information for curriculum courses will be posted on the Nash Campus Store website when it becomes available to us.

Textbook Lookup:

Choose the Academic Term for which you need information for (Fall/Spring/Summer) and a list of all courses offered during that term will appear. Choose the desired course and all of the textbook information available will appear. If some courses do not show Used or Rentals as an available option then that is not available at that time for that course.

How can I find out how much my textbooks will cost?

This information is posted online as it becomes available. If you see that the textbook information has posted for particular term, but the price info has not posted yet, check back later, as Nash Campus Store is still working on that term’s price list.

Are there used copies of all textbooks?

No, there are not used copies of all textbooks. Some textbooks will only be available as a new copy for many different reasons. Also, used copies are the first to be sold, so they are available at a “first come, first serve basis”.

Return Policy

What is Nash Campus Store’s Return Policy?

Most items must be returned within 2 weeks from the purchase date, in their original packaging (if any), with your original receipt. There are some exceptions/restrictions for select access codes, Continuing Ed. Course materials and electronics. Please click the following link for more information on Nash Campus Store’s Return Policy: Store Policy.

When making a return, will I receive cash as my refund?

When receiving a refund for a purchase that was paid by cash, it may be possible to receive cash as your refund. Some refund amounts may be too large for a cash refund, as the Campus Store does not keep large amounts of cash on hand. In this case, a check will be issued by NCC Business Office and mailed to the address on file.

If I originally paid with a credit card, will I need to bring the same credit card with me when making a return?

In most cases, the credit card used during the original purchase will be stored in our system and can be automatically used to issue refunds. There may be some situations that will require the physical card to be present.

If I paid with Financial Aid, how will I receive my refund for my return?

If Financial Aid is still available to use in the Campus Store, we will credit your Financial Aid account. Once Financial Aid is unavailable in the Campus Store, NCC Business Office will be informed of your refund amount and will issue a check refund that will be mailed to your address on file.

Unfortunately, all clearance items are nonrefundable.

Can I get a refund for textbooks that I purchased that are still in the original packaging, even if it is after the 2 week return period?

Can I get a refund if I bought a textbook and/or access code for a class that doesn’t start until later in the semester, after the 2 week return, because I ended up dropping the class before it started?
